Conducting Webinars

Host live webinars or recordings on various topics

Updated over 9 months ago

The Classes tab on the MindFi platform offers live webinars and recordings, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise, engage with members in real-time (for live webinars), and encourage bookings for your sessions.

  • Live webinars are 20-30 minutes long, including 5-10 minutes for a Q&A session, and are recorded for on-demand viewing under the Classes tab

  • Pre-recorded webinars (aka MindFi Talks) should be at least 10 minutes long and are featured under the Featured classes section. They remain accessible to members for one week and will thereafter be available to view any time under the Past classes section

Topics for webinars

We welcome content related to mental health, therapy, and coaching. As much as possible, the topics should align with special events or a monthly theme, such as World Mental Health Day, International Women's Day, International Self-Care Day, Suicide Prevention Month, etc.

Example topics:

  • How to apply ikigai to daily life

  • Yoga for beginners

  • Understanding depression

  • Thriving at work and home

Process for conducting webinars

Live webinars

  1. Reach out to us at [email protected] by stating the topic, content outline, and when you would like to conduct the webinar

  2. Our team will review and let you know if there are any adjustments needed for the content and schedule

  3. Once approved, we'll set up a calendar invite and send you a Zoom panelist link

  4. You may want to prepare a slide deck that you can share during the webinar. However, this is optional, and depends on your delivery style

  5. 10 mins before the start of the webinar, click on the Zoom panelist link to join. This is so you can check that your camera, microphone, and screen sharing is working well. Our team will also be there to guide you along

  6. Remember to share a QR code that links to your profile on our platform, so the audience can book sessions with you easily!

  7. The last 5 - 10 mins of the webinar are usually for answering questions from the audience

  8. At the very end, our team will wrap up the session and end the webinar

  9. The recording will be processed and uploaded to the platform for viewing in 3 working days

πŸ“ Notes:

  1. Be in a place with minimal disturbances (preferably indoors) for the duration of the live webinar

  2. Make sure your chosen location is brightly lit. We all want to see your face clearly!

  3. Wear an outfit that makes you feel good and doesn't blend in with the background

  4. Have a beverage with you during the interview to hydrate in between questions.

  5. "Be Global, Not Local" - Speak to an imaginary global audience. You may have local examples from your country of residence but try to make it relevant for a global audience

Pre-recorded webinars (MindFi Talks)

  1. Reach out to us at [email protected] by stating the topic, content outline, and when you would like to recording to be posted

  2. Our team will review and let you know if there are any adjustments needed for the content and schedule

  3. Send in the recording at least 1 week before the planned posting date, so our team have enough time to edit it

  4. Refer to MIndFi Talks - Presenter Guidelines for more details on the content structure, camera setup, sample script, etc.
