Is there a limit to how many times a Member can return to the same Provider?

Yes. As part of Optum’s policy, a Member may complete up to 3 sets of sessions with the same Provider. This helps ensure the service remains short-term and solution-focused, in line with the EAP model. After the 3rd set, the Member will need to select a different Provider for any new set of sessions.
