Session Participants Policy

This article is intended for:

đŸ‘€ Members (Employees)

Therapy and coaching sessions are designed to provide individual support to the member who booked the session. To protect your privacy and ensure that your Provider can provide appropriate support, sessions should generally be attended by the member only.

Bringing Another Person to Your Session

Please do not invite or ask another person to join your session without your Provider's prior consent.

This includes joining a session with a:

  • Partner or spouse

  • Family member

  • Friend

  • Colleague

  • Other person who was not included when the session was booked

If you would like someone else to participate, please discuss this with your Provider before the session. Your Provider will decide whether their participation is appropriate based on the purpose and nature of the session.

If Someone Joins Without Prior Consent

If another person joins your session without your Provider's prior consent, your Provider may decide how to proceed based on the circumstances. They may:

  • Ask the additional participant to leave and continue the session with you.

  • Proceed with the session with the additional participant present and conduct the session as usual.

  • End the session if they are unable to proceed appropriately with the additional participant present.

If the session needs to be ended because an unauthorized participant has joined, the session will still be considered a completed or attended session and will not be eligible for a refund. Please refer to our Session Charges and Refund Policy for Members for more information about refunds.

Why This Matters

Your Provider needs to know who will be participating in a session so they can maintain an appropriate and confidential environment and provide support that is suitable for everyone involved.

If you would like a session involving multiple participants, please speak with your Provider in advance so they can determine whether this is appropriate and how the session should be conducted.
