Initiating Follow Up Sessions with Members

Create bookings from the Provider Portal

After completing a session with a member, you can initiate follow up sessions on the Provider Portal.

  1. Go to the Bookings tab

  2. Click on Create booking at the top right corner
    ​

  3. Select the member you want to book with

  4. Select the session date and time. This is in your browser's local timezone

  5. Select the session duration

  6. Add your comments, if any

  7. Click Submit
    ​

  8. The member will receive an email and push notification to accept the booking

    1. They have until 24 hours before the session start date and time to accept the booking on the app

    2. Regular reminder emails and push notifications will be sent to them

    3. If the member does not accept the booking before the deadline, the booking will be canceled automatically

  9. Initiated bookings pending the member's acceptance will be shown on the Pending sub tab

🚨 Important notes:

  • You can only initiate bookings with members you've previously had sessions with
    ​

  • You can only initiate bookings with a start date and time that is at least 24 hours away. Bookings initiated which are starting in less than 24 hours will be canceled automatically
    ​

  • Members can't accept multiple initiated bookings. They can only accept the sessions one at a time. Each session must be accepted individually after the prior session ends. This is in place to give the client flexibility in case they need to reschedule or cancel any session.
