Changing the Status of an Employee

Deactivate and reactivate employees

Updated over 2 months ago

Keeping employee status up to date ensures that only eligible employees can access wellbeing benefits on the platform.

By default, employees added to the platform are set to Active.

To view the employee list, on the left panel of the Hub, click on Organization > Employees

Deactivating an employee

You can deactivate an employee when they should no longer have access to the platform (e.g., resignation). If you would like them to continue having access for a few more months, you can delay deactivation until then.

  1. Find the employee by searching their name or email address

  2. Click on the Actions button

  3. Select Deactivate account

  4. Confirm the deactivation by entering Confirm (case-sensitive), then click Deactivate

The employee’s status will be updated to Deactivated.

After deactivation, the employee will:

  • No longer have access to therapy & coaching sessions (any upcoming sessions will be automatically cancelled)

  • Lose access to premium self-care content, including guided mindfulness practices and wellbeing videos

  • Have dependents (if any) deactivated as well

  • If the employee is an Admin, they will no longer have access to the Hub

  • No longer count towards your seat usage

📝 Note:

Admins cannot deactivate their own account. Another admin in the organization will need to make the change.

Reactivating an employee

You can reactivate an employee if they should regain access to the platform.

  1. Find the employee by searching their name or email address, or filter the list by Deactivated status

  2. Click on the Actions button

  3. Select Reactivate account

  4. Confirm the action by clicking Reactivate in the pop-up

The employee’s status will be updated to Active.

After reactivation, the employee will:

  • Regain access to therapy & coaching sessions

  • Regain access to premium self-care content, including guided mindfulness practices and wellbeing videos

  • Have dependents (if any) reactivated as well

  • If the employee is an Admin, they will regain access to the Hub

  • Count towards your seat usage
